February is our biggest update yet. Alke Analytics evolves into a true multi-media analytics platform with full video tracking support, introduces engagement reporting, upgrades email reports, and opens the door to self-service onboarding. Here’s everything that’s new.
Video tracking: measure what your audience watches
Alke Analytics now tracks video consumption natively. The new video tracking module supports any HTML5-based player through a generic adapter architecture, with a ready-to-use JWPlayer adapter shipped out of the box. Support for additional players can be added with minimal effort.
The video tracker captures active viewing time, playback sequences, and custom metadata — giving you a granular understanding of how your audience interacts with video content. A new asset_url dimension distinguishes the video asset from the page it’s embedded on, so you can analyze content performance independently of its distribution.
The dashboard now supports multi-media type filtering — switch between text, video, and audio content to see the metrics that matter for each format. This is a foundational step toward unified content analytics, regardless of media type.
Engagement reports: quantify your audience’s attention
Building on the active time metric introduced in January, we now offer a dedicated engagement report. Users are automatically grouped into engagement buckets based on their active time, giving you a clear distribution of how deeply your audience interacts with your content.
This report works across both web and native SDKs, providing a consistent engagement picture whether your users are on desktop, mobile, or connected TV. The engagement data is collected, processed, and visualized through the entire stack — collector, server, backend, and frontend.

Upgraded email reports
Email reports have received a major upgrade. You can now receive daily reports in addition to weekly ones, with a modern card-based design featuring key metrics at a glance. Users can customize their reporting preferences — choosing frequency, metrics, and properties — directly from their account settings.
The new email design is cleaner, more informative, and optimized for quick scanning on mobile devices.
Self-signup and trial management
Alke Analytics is now accessible through self-service signup. New users can create an account, start a free trial, and begin collecting data without waiting for manual provisioning. The onboarding flow guides new customers through property setup and collector installation, reducing time-to-value from days to minutes.
Contextual tips throughout the interface
A new contextual tips system highlights features you might have missed. Saved views, report switching shortcuts, and other productivity boosters are surfaced right where you need them — helping both new and experienced users get more out of the platform.
Smarter bot detection
The server collector now features improved bot detection, reducing noise in your analytics data. Enhanced logging and configurable detection thresholds give you confidence that the traffic you’re analyzing is real human engagement.
CMP status tracking
Finally, Alke now tracks and reports the CMP status alongside consent data. This gives you visibility into whether a CMP was present, how users interacted with it, and what consent state was ultimately recorded — essential context for interpreting consent metrics accurately.
