Frequently asked questions
Which platforms and environments does Alke Analytics support?
Alke Analytics supports websites (JavaScript tag), iOS and Android mobile apps (native SDKs), and connected TV platforms including Apple TV, Android TV and Tizen. All environments report to the same platform and appear in the same interface.
How does consent-free measurement work across different platforms?
Based on our self-assessment against CNIL criteria, Alke Analytics can operate without requiring consent when properly configured — on web, apps and CTV. Our tracking is purpose-limited to audience measurement, uses data minimization, and provides opt-out mechanisms on all platforms.
How does Alke Analytics compare to Google Analytics in terms of performance impact?
Our web JavaScript tag has a 20KB initial payload compared to Google Analytics' 45KB+, with asynchronous loading that doesn't block page rendering. Native mobile and CTV SDKs are equally optimized for minimal performance impact.
Can we track video content and streaming quality?
Yes. Alke Analytics includes built-in video and streaming metrics: viewing duration, completion rates, concurrent viewers, live vs. replay analysis, and Quality of Experience (QoE) metrics including buffering rate, bitrate and startup time. These are available on web, apps and CTV.
How quickly can we implement Alke Analytics across our properties?
Most publishers can deploy across their web properties in less than a day using our JavaScript tag. Mobile and CTV SDK integration depends on your release cycle, but typically requires minimal engineering effort.
Is our data protected under European privacy laws?
Yes. As a European company, Alke Analytics is fully GDPR-compliant with all data hosted exclusively in Europe. We operate under European jurisdiction, eliminating data transfer concerns.
